Trading Disclaimer: while Triton has build-in audit results and an Anti-MEV node, we are not responsible for any losses caused by investors buying or selling malicious tokens. Moreover, users are advised to always double check their settings, including the enabling of 'Anti-MEV', before buying any token, to avoid being frontrun. Lastly, ALWAYS check the contract address you are buying or selling on Etherscan, to avoid being scammed by a copycat contract. Triton's first functionality, manually buying or selling tokens, while simple, offer various advantages over traditional methods. Firstly, using decentralized exchange platforms such as uniswap.org, can be very slow and subject to failed transactions. For example, trading high volume tokens with uniswap.org is practically impossible. Moreover, you have a high risk of being frontran using uniswap.org, something that you will be protected from with Triton Sniper through our Anti-MEV node.
To get started with Triton and make your first manual buy and sell, simply follow the below easy steps. Connecting & Entering the Platform As a first step, navigate to tritonsniper.io and select ‘dApp’. From here, you are prompted with below screen, from where you are asked to connect your wallet. If you feel uncomfortable connecting your wallet, feel free to use a burner wallet with no tokens or ETH inside. This wallet is only used to connect to the platform, and not to buy or sell tokens.
After connecting, you will be assigned a trading wallet. Please make sure to write down your private key, as Triton does not save private keys and is not responsible for the loss of funds due to forgotten keys. Moreover, users are advised to load their Triton wallet into MetaMask or another external tool. Once you have written down your private keys, follow the simple steps in to continue and enter the platform. If you log in for the first time, you will receive several ‘tutorial’ notifications to guide you through the platform and the different sections. From this starting screen, you can also select whether you want to trade on ETH or Base by selecting the dropdown menu in the top right hand corner. Shortly after our initial launch, we will add support for BNB, Solana and TRX.
Before you can start trading, you have to fund your Triton wallet. To find your wallet if you did not load your wallet into MetaMask or another external tool, simply click on the wallet icon in the top right hand corner of the dApp. From here, you can either deposit directly into your wallet by selecting the amount and hitting ‘deposit’, or transfer manually to the wallet address provided.
Buying & Selling Tokens Once your wallet is funded, from the homescreen, which present the new pairs listed on either Ethereum or Base, you can select any new pair you want to buy by clicking on them. Alternatively, you can input any token in the ‘search’ field at the top of the screen.
The panel on the right hand side of a token page, which shows the chart and transactions of a specific token, is your way to buy. Simply select the amount you want to buy, your tolerated slippage, gas limit and priority fee and hit ‘quick buy’. To sell tokens, simply select ‘Sell’ and select the % of your holding you wish to sell. Hit ‘Quick Sell’ to finish the transaction.
In this section, you can also set limit orders, indicated by the ‘Buy Dip’ and ‘Auto Sell’ buttons. For more information on how these limit orders work, refer to the Other Features section of this Whitepaper. Please note that you can also Quick Buy a token from the Trending or New Pairs pages. Before buying tokens like this, users are required to set their amount in the top left corner of the screen, and the settings for these quick buys can be customized in the 'Settings' section of the dApp, accessible by clicking on Settings in the top right hand corner of the screen.
Fees: please note that Triton Sniper charges a 0.1% fee on every manual buy and sell. These fees are partially distributed to holders in a Revenue Sharing program, as detailed in the chapter Why Hold $TRITON?.
